Dublin

We arrived in Dublin on Saturday afternoon. With just a short, day-and-a-half stay planned, we wasted no time getting the lay, and feel, of the land. Our hotel wasn't too far a walk from the hustle and bustle of Grafton Street--an area with countless shops, bars and restaurants (awesome Indian, again!) and where street music abounds. Here's a hodgepodge of Dublin's sights as our eyes saw them.

The interior of St. Teresa's just off Grafton Street, where we went to Sunday Mass. In the words of John, upon entrance: "The Catholic Church doesn't mess around." A beautiful place to celebrate a beautiful faith.
Christ's Church (aka The Cathedral of the Holy Trinity).
City Center.
The interior of Trinity College. I say interior because you walk off the busy streets, through massive arched doors and are transplanted to another planet. You are literally in the interior of the city, but would never have known otherwise had you not just walked through those doors. We were speechless at the quiet and peace once inside.

While at Trinity, we visited the Book of Kells. Because of it's historic (and as far as we're concerned, miraculous) nature, it cannot be photographed. It is safe to say that it is the most magnificent piece of man-made art our eyes have ever seen.

While walking around, we saw a wedding party posing for a group shot and I couldn't resist.

On Grafton Street.
This band was very good and had a large crowd gathered to hear their tunes.
St. Stephen's Green. Dublin has some great green spaces.
Pretending I just stole Glen's money, a la "Once"...

Dinning al fresco in Temple Bar at GBK (Awesome burger place!) And no, that's not Guinness!
